Teresa Allen-Rowe is the founding pastor of Mountain UU Fellowship in Oakhurst, a vibrant and inclusive congregation dedicated to spiritual growth, social justice, and radical welcome. With a background in Christian worship leadership and a heart for multi-faith ministry, Teresa brings warmth, depth, and creativity to everything she does.
Her preaching often blends personal story, sacred texts, and modern insight—drawing from sources as diverse as ancient wisdom, Marvel movies, poetry, and everyday life. She is especially passionate about supporting and uplifting marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and those experiencing poverty or housing insecurity.
Teresa is currently preparing to attend seminary at Pacific School of Religion and is recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association as the pastor of this emerging congregation. She believes deeply in the transformative power of love, community, and collective liberation.
She lives in Oakhurst with her wife Chris, their daughter Sage, and a trio of beloved dogs. Teresa finds joy in building community, organizing justice-centered events, and helping others feel truly seen and valued.
